Even though Guilford-raised pop singer Aaron Taos has a record coming out Friday, Nov. 20, and was in Phoenix shooting a music video the other day when we spoke to him by phone, he hasn’t escaped the pandemic disruption to career and life. The COVID lockdown pretty much chased him from Los Angeles to live back at his parents’ home.
The first version of the new “Birthday Boy” album, recorded at his family’s house in Guilford, came out last year and one of the tracks, “Control,” made it to the “NBA 2K” video game soundtrack, which led Taos to sign with a label under the Sony Music banner.
